Cotone Mako 28 from Aurifil is a mercerized thread made from 100% Egyptian cotton. It's of superb quality, and you won't need to split any threads. You can use this thread right down to the last strand, and it will stay beautiful! The spools are 100 meters long.

On 14 ply embroidery linen or finer, use one strand of this yarn.

On 11 to 13 wires you can use a double use wire.
